Questions

Straight answers to the questions we get asked most

What areas do you cover?

We work out of Bakersfield and cover Kern County: Oildale, Rosedale, Greenacres, Shafter, Wasco, Delano, McFarland, Taft, Maricopa, Arvin, Lamont and Buttonwillow on the valley floor, and up into Tehachapi, Stallion Springs, Bear Valley Springs, Frazier Park, California City, Mojave and Lake Isabella.

If you are near the edge of that list, call and ask. We travel for the right job, and on a bigger scope the drive is rarely what decides the price.

How much does junk removal or demolition cost?

There is no flat rate, because the two jobs that look identical from the street rarely are. A quote from us accounts for labor, equipment, location, the estimated volume, any tariffs or fees — including recycling, disposition and donation — and fuel for transportation.

You get that number in writing before any work starts, and it is the number you pay. Request a quote or ask for a callback and we will scope it properly.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Walking the property, understanding the scope and quoting it costs you nothing, and on renovation work the consultation is complimentary too. We would rather spend an hour up front than discover the real scope on day two.

How soon can you get here?

We answer the phone seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific, and we schedule around what you need cleared rather than a fixed weekly route. Tell us your deadline when you call — a rental turnover, a close of escrow or an inspection date — and we will tell you straight away whether we can hit it.

Are you bonded and insured?

Yes, ACH Services is both bonded and insured, on residential and commercial work alike. If your property manager, HOA or general contractor needs paperwork before we come on site, ask and we will send it across.

Can you do the demolition and then the remodel?

That is most of what we do. We are a junk removal, demolition and transportation contractor with a focus on demolition, home renovations and bathroom and kitchen remodels, and we take care of everything from a complete tear-down through to the finished remodel.

It means one crew, one point of accountability, and no gap where the debris sits in the driveway waiting for a different company.

Do you handle hoarder, foreclosure and eviction cleanouts?

Yes, and it is one of our specialties. We work with property investors on distressed properties occupied by squatters or hoarders — securing and clearing the site, then renovating it so it can be listed. These jobs are quoted after a walk-through, never over the phone.

Can I just rent a bin and load it myself?

Yes. We will drop a bin where you need it, swap it when it fills and collect it when you are finished. Because we are also the labor, you can switch to a loaded service partway through if the job turns out bigger than you planned — hot tubs, concrete and wet green waste usually do.

What do you do with everything once it is loaded?

We sort at the point of loading rather than at the tip, so recyclables are diverted where they are accepted, usable goods are routed to donation, and metal and cardboard are recovered rather than buried. The recycling and disposal fees are in the quote you approved.

Is there anything you will not take?

Hazardous materials have their own rules and their own disposal streams, so tell us up front if there is anything of that kind on the property and we will tell you how it has to be handled before the general load can go. Everything else — furniture, appliances, hot tubs, mattresses, construction debris, scrap metal, green waste — is routine.
